Avni graduated with a double major in Economics and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the Morehead-Cain Scholarship, the first full-ride merit scholarship founded in the U.S., awarded to only 3% of applicants. Her teaching experience—which ranges from tutoring academic subjects while in high school to teaching Indian dance styles like Bollywood and Bharatanatyam since 2015—has convinced her that success is possible for every student by tailoring a unique approach to the individual. Her objective is to provide an encouraging and fun learning environment that instills confidence and grit in her students, empowering them to achieve their goals. Avni grew up in Austin, Texas, and is currently producing her first comedy feature film via her independent production company, Sticky Feet Productions.
