Elizabeth is a native Houstonian with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Driven by her passion for math, science, teaching, and learning, Elizabeth loves helping students reach the light bulb moment when they understand a new concept. She finds it rewarding to help students improve their academic grades and scores on standardized exams. Her goal is to help students reach their full potential and develop strategies and habits to succeed in the long-term. Outside of tutoring, Elizabeth enjoys knitting, crocheting, volunteering, baking, swimming, and playing the flute—her goal is to learn flute well enough to play pieces like Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 2 in D Major.
