Gregory graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English and a minor in Art History, as well as a minor in Political Science from the School of Foreign Service. While at Georgetown, he was named as a Lannan Poetry Fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library on Capitol Hill. He then earned his M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, earning the Graduate Achievement Award.
After graduating from Georgetown, he worked for The City section of The New York Times before moving to New Line Cinema to pursue his interest in film and television creative development. He later taught summer Screenwriting and Film Studies classes at Williams College.
In Los Angeles, Gregory worked in the Story Department of ICM and as a creative executive at Little Engine Productions before moving on to television shows at Fox, including BONES, and multiple anniversary and holiday specials at NBC. In his downtime, he pursues his performative side at The Groundlings, Margie Haber Studios, and An Actor’s Space with Rob Brownstein. He’s also stuck in the habit of running two marathons a year, trying to improve his 3:25 personal best.
