Gus earned his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Pomona College and his M.B.A in International Strategy and Finance from Yale School of Management. Gus has been tutoring math almost without interruption since he was 13 years old, both as a volunteer and as a professional tutor. Prior to joining Advantage Testing, Gus worked as a sales executive for Katz Communications, as a consultant for the Mitchell Madison Group, and as an internal consultant in both finance and operations roles for Capital One Financial Corp. When not tutoring, Gus pursues his many other passions including dancing (he was once a competitive ballroom dancer placing as high as 6th at the national amateur level), traveling, playing any ball sport that isn’t golf or tennis, hiking, reading, gardening, and gourmet cooking.
