Lucy graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in 2017 with a B.A. in Community Health and a B.A. in Spanish, followed by an M.Phil. in Population Health Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2023. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 2024.

Having grown up in a family of educators, Lucy developed a deep appreciation for teaching and education from an early age. She graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School, where she served as captain of the soccer team during her junior and senior years. While at Tufts, she worked as a tutor in the Somerville Public Schools, and at Cambridge, she tutored undergraduate and graduate medical students in research skills courses.

Most recently, Lucy was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Santiago, Chile, exploring the intersection of public health and sports—particularly soccer—to improve access to health benefits in underserved communities. She previously spent three years conducting clinical research under faculty at Harvard Medical School and two years teaching elementary school in Madrid, Spain, where she also worked with students in Tufts University’s Madrid program. She is fluent in Spanish.
