Michael has been passionate about teaching for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he was constantly helping others, whether tutoring his younger siblings with their homework or assisting friends with schoolwork. This early passion led Michael to work as a private tutor while a high school junior, specializing in math and science. Michael graduated from Saint John's School and earned a B.S. degree, with honors, in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. After college, Michael initially pursued a career as a high school calculus teacher, but his journey ultimately brought him to private tutoring, where he found his true calling. Michael specializes in creating customized lesson plans that fit each student’s individual needs and learning style. His goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to inspire a genuine passion for learning that lasts a lifetime. Michael is patient and engaging and believes in encouraging intellectual curiosity in his students every step of the way. When Michael is not working with students, he can be found playing soccer, swimming, enjoying movies, or spending time with his newborn son.
