Rachel earned a B.A. in English from Yale University, where she won the Yale Book Prize. In addition to tutoring, she is a stage manager for theater, opera, and dance and serves as the Boston Area Community Leader for the Actors' Equity Association, the professional union of stage managers and actors. She has also served on the negotiating team for the local union contract, as an alumni interviewer for Yale University, and as a volunteer with Boston Book Fairy.
Rachel's hobbies include gardening, baking, sewing, and knitting. She also serves as a test knitter who provides feedback on a pattern's design and written instructions before designers release it to the public. She has four adorable guinea pigs: Piotr, Kurt, Jubilee, and Chub Chub.
