Romy graduated from Drake University, where she earned a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Journalism. She also holds an Independent Educational Consulting certificate from the University of California, Irvine. Romy has nine years of experience working in private schools—she understands that the standardized test preparation and college admissions can be overwhelming and stressful. With every new family, she draws upon years of experience to help students and parents navigate this process in a positive and emotionally healthy way. Outside of tutoring, Romy is accomplished in culinary endeavors, earning her A.O.S. in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Houston. She also enjoys taking standardized tests, traveling, planning culinary adventures, reading, and watching football.
