A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, Tori earned a B.A. in History and Literature and a Citation in French. She then earned her M.A. in Secondary Education from Simmons College and her M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a Tisch Scholarship and a Teaching Fellowship. She has taught English, history, and theater in independent schools and junior colleges in the U.S. and Singapore.

Tori brings over 15 years of individualized teaching experience to help her students read perceptively, do math dexterously, and find and flex their voices on the page. As a tutor with Advantage Testing, Tori has helped students from New York City to London to Silicon Valley achieve success in rigorous academic courses, high-stakes testing, and top program admissions. Tori is also an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her many accolades include an Emmy nomination for her work on Colonial Williamsburg’s Electronic Field Trip series for PBS.
